Replacement 10 10 glider mechanism for chair. This furniture part will repair, replace or add glider motion to any chair with a suitable mounting surface (determined by mounting width). It is a dash 1 glider and comes in the following mounting widths: 19.5", 20.5", 21.5", 22.5", and 23.5". Please carefully measuse the base of your chair to determine the correct width for mounting this glider mechanism. This glider is commonly added with our swivel plate and ring bases to add swivel and glider motion to a chair. Swivel plate and ring base is not included.     I perched this product along with the base unit to convert my daughter-in-laws over stuffed chair. The springs in the bottom of the chair were close to the bottom of the chair so I had to lower the Glider 3" so the glide mechanism would clear the springs. To maintain the stability for the unit, I used two, 1" square, 12" long pieces of steal tubing on each side. I used 3" 1/4-20 bolts to connect the Mechanism to the 4" Oak slats on the bottom of the chair. It works Great. This may be a little long, but I just wanted everyone to know, That no two chairs are going to be the same, so, with a little ingenuity, it will work on your chair. Just make sure you get the correct width to support your chair. Customer service is great, and will help you with this.
