Lane OEM Replacement Recliner Mechanism Tension Spring. Spring has total length of 5 3/4 inches and outside diameter of 1 inch. Spring has 29 coils. Coil length is 4 inches. The hooks measure 1 Inch above the coil. The hooks are offset 180 degrees. This spring will replace an old or broken spring on Lane, Action, and HomePlace Group recliners. How To:

Turn the recliner over Using pliers or a piece of twine, hook the springs on to the mechanism peg or hole in the metal plate then using pliers or twine pull the opposite hook into the next spring mounting hole.

For best results open the footrest before fitting the spring will make access to the mechanism easier.

    Exactly what I needed. These exact parts are hard to find. Ordered and promptly shipped and received. Footrest was working like new in no time. Will go here for my OEM Lane needs from now on.
