How To:

Turn the recliner over Using pliers or a piece of twine, hook the springs on to the mechanism peg or hole in the metal plate then using pliers or twine pull the opposite hook into the next spring mounting hole.

For best results open the footrest before fitting the spring will make access to the mechanism easier.

    The part I ordered was a perfect match for the original. The only thing that would have made this purchase better is if the installation tool was also offered. It is difficult to install the spring (due to the amount of tension) with improper tolls. Overall I am very satisfied
