Lane OEM Replacement Recliner Mechanism Tension Spring. Spring has total length of 2 1/16 Inches and Diameter of 3/4 Inch. Spring has 7 Coils and a Total Coil Length of 1 5/8 Inches. The Hooks of this Spring are offset facing opposite directions of each other. Each Hook Measures 3/4 Inch Above the Coil. This Spring will Replace an Old or Broken Spring on Lane, Action, and HomePlace Group Recliners, and is direct Replacement for Lane Chair Style 2565. How To:

Turn the recliner over Using pliers or a piece of twine, hook the springs on to the mechanism peg or hole in the metal plate then using pliers or twine pull the opposite hook into the next spring mounting hole.

For best results open the footrest before fitting the spring will make access to the mechanism easier.

    So grateful to find these small short springs, this was ONLY site to sell them. At approx $25 per spring, it may seem costly..however to repair the chair in a shop would be several hundred! Thank you so much.
